07 · On Board

Life on the flotilla — the good-to-knows.

Drinks, food, harbours, cabins, toilets and power — the practical rhythm of a week on the boat.

Drinks & Spirits

Thanks to our partnerships with selected brands you can look forward to special moments on board — including El Tony Mate, Miraval Rosé, Hierbas Ibicencas, Premixes gin cocktail of KERA 23:59 Drinks & Spirits and Sunday Seltzer. Water and softdrinks for the first days are included.

  • Included drinks are available to every crew — while stocks last.
  • Feel free to bring your own favourites too.

Food on Board

Every crew is responsible for their own catering. You can shop together as a group or organise individually. A fully equipped kitchen is available on every boat — cooking together is easy.

  • Buy snacks & basics for the first days in advance.
  • Most harbour towns have supermarkets.
  • We send you an experience-based shopping list before departure.

Harbour Fees & Boat Kitty

Two nights are planned in quiet bays (no fees). For the other nights in harbours expect roughly 20–30 € per person per night, paid on site.

  • Bring 150 € cash for the shared boat kitty at the start of the week.
  • Each crew organises the kitty themselves — Splitwise works well.

Cabins & Sleeping

All cabins are essentially equivalent — decide together who shares with whom. Fair and open, on the spot.

  • Usually two people per cabin in a double bed.
  • Bed linen and regular towels are provided.
  • Storage is limited — use soft bags.

Luggage & Storage

Storage on a sailing boat is limited. Soft bags or backpacks fit much better than hard-shell suitcases. Hard cases are possible — you'll simply have less cabin space.

Toilets & Showers

Toilets and showers are on board for the crew. For the 'big business' we recommend using the harbour facilities whenever possible — on-board toilets clog easily.

  • If unsure how to use the toilet, ask your skipper.
  • Every harbour on our route has modern, clean sanitary facilities — often 24/7.

Power, Battery & Powerbanks

Power on board is limited, especially while sailing. Few sockets, and some only work with shore power.

  • Charge your devices in the harbour when shore power is available.
  • Powerful powerbanks from our partner Chimpys are provided on board.
  • Powerbanks are managed centrally — a lost powerbank is charged at 20 CHF.

Skipper & Safety

Our experienced skippers guide you safely through the most beautiful routes of the Adriatic. They are your first contact on board — for safety, route choice or wellbeing.

  • Every boat has a safety briefing at the start — please attend attentively.
  • Follow the skipper's instructions at all times.

Sustainability

Please remember: shower water flows directly into the sea. We strongly recommend biodegradable shampoo and shower gel to protect this beautiful nature.

Community & Boat Chats

All general info for the week (packing, meeting points, route updates) lands in the Sails N' Beats community chat. Two weeks before departure we create a dedicated group chat per boat with the skipper.

Good Vibes & Rules

A few simple rules keep life on board smooth for everyone — so we can all focus on the good times.

  • No shoes on deck, unless the skipper says otherwise.
  • Respect quiet hours in harbours after 23:00.
08 · Contact
